SÅDAN KOM JEG AF MED MIN SUKKERTRANG

Skyr m. müsli, honing og frugt

Både min kæreste og jeg har haft en mega dårlig vane med, at skulle have noget “lækkert” næsten hver aften. Det har været alt fra smoothie, chokolade, chips, slik, nødder, you name it. Noget selvfølgelig sundere end andet, men det var på tide “trangen” smuttede.
  1. En af de ting jeg har benyttet mig meget af, for at komme af med sukkertrangen, er for det første at sørge for, at vi slet ikke har noget herhjemme der frister. 
  2. Dertil kommer, at vi har aftalt at det kun er i weekenderne vi spiser slik, chips m.m. hvis vi føler for det - for hver dag er jo weekend! Just kidding. Det er en ret god “huskeregel”, ellers ryger der nemt noget ned hver aften.
  3. Vi laver også ofte te om aftenen, selvfølgelig unde vildt meget sukker, da min “sukkertrang” tit opstår udelukkende fordi jeg bare har lyst til at proppe noget i kæften. Og så er te også bare så hyggeligt og varmer dejligt her i kulden.
  4. Derudover er jeg begyndt at prøve mig lidt frem med sundere versioner af slik, til hvis vi har lyst til at hygge en aften, og det ikke er weekend. Det vil der komme opskrifter på, men dette kunne være et bud.
Og har det virket? Helt sikkert! Og ovenstående er jo ikke lige frem raketvidenskab, men derimod ret overskueligt, hvis du spørger mig. Jeg kan tydeligt mærke, at jeg ikke har samme trang til at skulle have sukker hver aften, hvilket er ekstremt rart. Dog vil jeg også lige pointere, at jeg ikke er fanatisk omkring det, jeg bager skam stadig kage engang imellem, eller går ned og køber lidt bland-selv slik. Pointen er sådanset at slippe for, at skulle have lyst til sukker hver aften.

Og speaking of snacking, så sidder jeg faktisk lige nu og spiser skiver af æble med peanutbutter på, efter en lang omgang træning - så må man jo godt ;-)


TRANSLATION: Both my boyfriend and I have had this insanely bad habbit with feeling the need to eat something “delicious” every evening. It’s been everything from smoothies, chocolate, chips, candy, nuts, you name it. Some things healthier than others, but it was about time for the sugar cravings to stop. 
  1. One of the things I’ve been doing to get rid of the need to eat sweet snack every evening, is first of all to make sure that we don’t have anything tempting at home. 
  2. Besides that we’ve agreed on only eating candy, chips m.m. if we feel like it - because everyday is like a weekend! Just kidding. But it’s a good “mnemonic rule”, or else you’ll just eat sugary stuff everyday.  
  3. We also make tea a lot in the evenings, ofcourse without tons of sugar, that’s because my need for sugar often just occur because of the need to eat something. The bonus is that tea is such a nice at this time of the year, nice and warming. 
  4. Besides that I’ve been trying to make some healthier alternatives to candy, if we really feel the need to have something to enjoy in the evening and it is not in the weekend. I will publish some recipies later on, but this one could be an example.
And have it been effective? Indeed! And it’s not like the things above is rocket sience, but pretty simple if you ask me. I really love the fact, that I don’t feel the need to eat sugary stuff every evening. But I also want to point out that I’m not fanatic about this, I do bake a cake from time to time and buy  candy. The point is just to get rid of having sugary cravings every evening. 

Speaking of snacking, in this moment I’m eating apples with peanutbutter, after a long workout - because then it’s okay ;-)
